How do I add an image next to content in an article?
IMPORTANT NOTE – you need to resize your images before adding them so they are not too big when you add them to the page.  To do this you’ll need an image editing software, like Microsoft Paint, Adobe Photoshop, or Macromedia Fireworks etc.
  • Ensure that you are logged in the back-end of your website.
  • Click on Articles or Article Manager in Dashboard view
  • Select and open the article or page where you want the image to be.
  • Place your cursor where you want the image to be on the page
  • Click on the Insert/Edit Image icon (it’s a yellow icon with a mountain and sun like image in it), this opens a pop up window;
If the image has been previously uploaded to the server,
  • Select the image from the list presented
  • Adjust image properties as below
  1. Enter a figure for the border thickness you require (border thickness of 1 usually works well enough for most images or just enter zero)
  2. Enter a HSpace of 5 (this ensures that there is a horizontal margin between the image and the text or other content on the page)
  3. Enter a VSpace of zero unless you want a vertical margin (top and bottom)
  4. Align to the left, right or wherever you want the image to be positioned on the page

If you’d like to upload a new image,

  • Click on the tab labelled ‘Upload’
  • Browse on your computer to where the image is
  • Open the image
  • Click on 'Add' to add to server and 'Upload' to upload to the server
  • Click on Cancel to go back to the first popup window (Image properties)
  • Adjust image properties as above.
  • Then click Insert and the image will appear in position on the page
If you like the way it appears then click Save to effect change to the content item, otherwise, click on the insert/edit Image icon and adjust the settings accordingly.
